The Master of Health Industry Administration (MHIA) is a highly specialized 37.5-credit program designed to provide the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to navigate and manage in a highly complex and competitive field that encompasses business, government, and non-profit organizations. The program can be completed on a full-time basis in 12 months or on a part-time basis over 24 months, offering flexibility for working professionals or those seeking to accelerate their career trajectory.
The MHIA combines Schulich’s strengths of leading-edge management education with our specialized expertise in the field of healthcare administration. Building on Schulich’s existing MBA specialization and Graduate Diploma in Health Industry Management, along with a diverse alumni pool and wide range of sector partners, this highly applied professional program integrates leadership development with a focus on strategic thinking, systems design, healthcare quality, and value-creation.
The MHIA program has been accredited by the Canadian College of Health Leaders. This accreditation allows MHIA graduates to work towards the highly regarded Canadian Health Executive (CHE) designation.

The Healthcare Biotech Forum (HCBF) connects the talent pool at Schulich to the issues and opportunities in our healthcare system. In the Strategy Consulting Study in Healthcare, students step into the role of strategy consultants, working directly with real-world healthcare organizations to solve pressing business challenges.
