Y3 CORONATION GALLERY
KING CHARLES III CORONATION WAS ON SATURDAY 6TH JUNE.
IT WAS AN IMPORTANT PART OF HISTORY IN THE UK.
We used images to help us increase the amount of detail in our work.
We looked at some pictures of important objects which were used in the Coronation.
The detail in the Orb & St. Edward’s Crown were challenging to observe.
We used the ‘eyes of a scientist’ to look at the images. We had to decide if we wanted to use just pencil or add colour.
We rehearsed the basic shapes we needed to make before we began our sketches.
We invited our parents into school to see our wonderful gallery.
