The Pegasus Award recognises, creates and increases students' opportuntieis for achievement beyond the curriculum. It will challenge and stretch students to promote confidence and self belief.

WOODLANDS SCHOOL PEGASUS AWARD

THE AWARD There are 14 tiers. Students will work towards the Pegasus Award from Year 1 to Year14.

Each tier will represent a World Landmark, and students will make their journey through the different landmarks, and will be awarded once each level (landmark) is complete.

Whilst working towards the Pegasus Award, students can gain house points along the way.

They will be awarded house points each time they evidence British Values and Rights Respecting School (RRS) Articles.

When a student receives 3 house points in one of the areas of the award, they will be given a sticker for achieving a Pegasus point. Each area is a different colour.

One Pegasus point equals 3 house points, students will need to achieve 3 Pegasus points per area, a total of 36 house points.

Each student will also have an individual Pegasus target that will be agreed with Parents’, and can be evidenced from home using the Evidence for Learning App or simply sending the evidence into school. Students will need to achieve their target, together with gaining 36 house points to achieve the Pegasus Award.

Once they have achieved the Pegasus Award they will start again on the next tier (Landmark)
