Speak with an adult at home who is much older than you, maybe a grandparent or even a great grandparent. Ask them to tell you about what it was like at school. Note down any differences or similarities.
Research historic buildings from around the world. Find them on a map and find out when they were built. For example: Houses of Parliament, Pyramids, Colosseum, Parthenon.
Find and draw a historic artefact from your family’s past.
Look around your home, what different materials are the items made of? Can you name them and describe how they feel?
Visit a local library and look out for some History books. Feeling more adventurous? Visit a museum and look at different artefacts. For example: British Museum, Natural History Museum, Horniman Museum.

Make a friendship poster! Top tips promoting how to be a good friend.
Try to code a toy or parent to complete a route around a room. Use arrows and number of steps. (Right, Left, Forward, Back)

Focus: Our Place in History Find a Historical event that happened in London and draw and write about it. For example: The Great Fire of London, the Crystal Palace fire, Suffragettes at the Houses of Parliament
Have a go at making your own sand timer. Can you experiment and write down what you can do in that time?
When completing homework, we encourage you to be creative in your presentation, in order to deliver and share a piece of work which you are proud of. Please bring in all homework for the first half term between the 7th and 9th February ready for our sharing event on Thursday 10th February. Please bring in all homework for the second half term between the 28th and 30th March ready for our sharing event on Thursday 31st March.
