The Engine Shed is a special interest group for children, young people and their families on the autistic spectrum. We currently have two sites one in Reading and another in Chingford. We are opening a brand new branch at Bromley on Sunday the 2nd of October at the 14th Bromley Scout Hall. It will be on the first Sunday of the Month from 11 am till 2 pm and free to attend Address: 93 Plaistow Lane, Bromley BR1 3AR The key aims of The Engine Shed are: •

To provide a unique special interest facility for autistic children, young people and adults and their families or carers;

To provide an opportunity for families to share and learn new strategies for promoting the learning and social skills of our children, using their love of trains as an entry point;

To create a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which all children, siblings, parents and other family members can feel comfortable and relaxed;

To involve brothers and sisters in the often solitary activities of their siblings on the autistic spectrum;

To provide opportunities for brothers and sisters with autistic siblings to share experiences

Everybody is welcome. If you think your child or someone that you know would enjoy the sessions, please come along. There is no charge for attendance.
