December What’s been happening recently? Year 11 took part in geographical fieldwork on a trip to West Kirby and Thurstaston! Students practiced sampling techniques, and observed physical Geography in action.
KS3 students attended 'Happy Feet Dance Festival' performing on stage to a full audience!The girls showed amazing ambition and resilience and performed outstandingly. Well done all!
KS3 students attended a trip to Tranmere Rovers football ground as part of 'Anti-Racism Islamophobia Awareness month'. A very enjoyable and informative day with students acting as great ambassadors to take forward the message of stopping racism and Islamophobia!
20 selected students, who attended all of the extra-curricular sessions with @HYPE, had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Champions League match between Manchester City and RB Leipzig! Two of the year 7 boys even received a wave from 'Foden' and 'Haaland' leaving them star struck! Year 7 students loved 'cirque du freak' as their first reading book in school, we bought 2 sets of the series for the library! Year 9 students 'looking for JJ' book was such a hit, we treated them to a copy each! Happy reading!
