The school Y5/6 football team won the Kearsley & Little Lever league competition and were runners-up in the 6-a-side contest. The Y3/4 team finished 3 rd in their 6-a-side tournament. The rounders team finished runner-up in the Kearsley & Little Lever Cluster competition. OA Residentials were provided for Y5 and Y6 respectively at Dearne Valley and Grasmere. The percentage of children who successfully completed their 25m in swimming was 90%. The swimming team finished 5th in the inaugural Kearsley and Little Lever Gala. 100% of children in school have had quality PE coaching (level 2 or higher) for a range of sports. 100% of Y6 and 90% of Y5 children have represented the school in competition.
Continue to increase participation further. To provide a further range of after school clubs for children to participate in – KS2 focus based on questionnaire. To continue to ensure participation of children in competition representing the school. To build links with local clubs to increase participation out of school.
After school clubs include: karate, multi-skills, cricket, rounders, Olympics, rugby.
