Religious Education Our first Come and See topic is ‘Myself’, which teaches the children the importance of their name and that God knows and loves each one of them by name. ‘Welcome’, our second topic it helps the children to understand what it is to welcome and be welcome and know that Baptism is a welcome to God’s family.
Personal, Social & Emotional Development
Select activities with and without help. Play alongside and with other children. Learns and follows classroom rules. Confident to speak to adults in the classroom. Is aware of own feelings and can talk about these. Begin to take turns with new friends in class.
Physical Development
Handles tools, objects, construction and malleable materials safely and with increased control Begins to form recognisable letters and numbers. Begin to risk assess their own movements around the indoor and outdoor learning environment. Can dress and undress for PE, mostly independent of an adult.
