OUR GIFT TEAM


At St Anne’s RC Primary School, every year we have up to 12 GIFT Team Member’s from Yr1-6 and each year we have to fill out a application form to be a GIFT Team, who are supported by Miss Adriana, Mrs Regan, Mr Worrall and Mrs Heslop.
The children are chosen as they are role models in living their faith, just like Jesus’ disciples, or they are loving and caring to others.
Our GIFT Team Member’s regularly participate in weekly class collective worships together, and teacher led liturgical prayer and liturgies

Our GIFT team help with fundraising including Coffee mornings and bake cake sales. Fundraising from Academic Year 23/24

Our Y5/6 GIFT team are Mental Health Champs and Peer Mediators –use our vocation to help at play and lunchtimes.
Our GIFT Team deliver the Wednesday Word to other classes , with Miss Adriana in the Prayer Garden – we then share it with classes

OUR GIFT Team visited the Laudato si Centre in Salford, we spent a day’s retreat there and shared our learning back at school.
We joined with our schools and celebrate d together
Our GIFT Team met with OLHS Gift team and worked together to develop our roles . We celebrated Mass together.
We met with Mrs Ganley- RE Link Governor and shared all ideas and all that we have done
Together we looked at Pupil Books from Nursery to Year 6 – including BIG/FLOOR books , we made comments including next steps.
We support in RE lessons with questions and answers to develop knowledge and understanding
We observed RE and collective worship sessions across school and fed back to the teachers what we had enjoyed including next steps.
