WEDNESDAY WORD – “TRUST” LOVE JESUS, LOVE LEARNING, LOVE EACH OTHER. DATES FOR YOUR DIARIES ARCHERY The Archery before school club starts on Wednesday 27th February and runs from 88.45am. TOAST AND DINNER MONEY The prices for the next half term are £9.00 for toast and £66 for dinners. NSPCC Thank you to everyone who took part in the fundraising daily mile- we raised a magnificent £784.70. Karen Wood from the NSPCC is returning to school after the half term holiday to say a personal thank you to our pupils. NUT ALLERGY We have a pupil in school who has been diagnosed with a serious nut allergy. Could we please ask that you avoid sending any nut products into school at all so that we can minimize the chances of this child coming into contact with nuts and suffering a serious reaction. Thank you for your co-operation. MATHS SUCCESS On Thursday, St Oswald’s was represented at the Year 5 Maths Roadshow ,organized by St Edmund Arrowsmith , by Thomas McVeigh, Xavier Murphy, Evan Burke, William Turner, Jacob Martin, Iona Armstrong, Sakura Wilson and Solene AllenMcLellan. The pupils came 2nd overall as a team and Tom and Xavier were the top scoring pair. Well done everyone!

PTA ACTIVITIES The PTA will be offering an opportunity for your child to purchase a surprise gift for any special lady on Mother’s day. Further information to follow- pre-ordering is essential. They are also holding a cake sale in the TSB on Friday 1 st March to raise funds for school – pop along and treat yourself !! There will be tea and coffee available at all our assemblies - please support our

fundraising team! GUITAR RECITAL Well done to all our Year 4 pupils who produced a great recital demonstrating their guitar playing and singing skills to their families on Thursday morning. ROBINWOOD Our Year 6 pupils and staff who enjoyed a fun-filled and challenging 3 days in Cumbria all returned safely, muddy and tired on Wednesday evening. We are pleased to report that no fingers or toes were lost to the piranhas !! PEBBLES Thank you to all the pupils who have decorated and returned their pebbles- they will be

Friday 15th February School closes for half – term 3.30pm and re-opens on Monday 25th February at 8.50am prompt Friday 8th March We are celebrating World Book Day by dressing as Superheroes or Heroes and having a themed lunch- please note the lunch must be pre-ordered by Friday 1st March
