24th January 2023 Dear Parent Carers, Evidence for Learning – Family App We are really excited to be launching the Evidence for Learning Family app next week. By using the app you will have the opportunity to see some of the great learning your child does, which will be shared by teachers. You will also be able to add your own photo and video evidence of your child learning outside of school and link this to their EHCP as appropriate. It is a fantastic opportunity to further build home-school communication and for you to quickly see the highlights of your child’s week. Whilst testing the app it has come to our attention that the photos and videos show small groups of students working together. As a result, your child will inevitably appear in other students’ photos and videos. We really want to be able to share a wide variety of the learning that your child takes part in, but for this to happen we need consent for your child to appear in other students’ photos and videos. Any photos and videos shared within the Family app are NOT downloaded to personal devices and NOT shared on any social media platforms. With this in mind, please indicate below if you DO NOT want your child to appear in other students photos and / or videos contained within the Family app. If you are happy for your child to appear in other students’ photos and / or videos then you are not required to return the slip. If you DO NOT consent, please return the slip no later than Friday 27th January 2023.
