Page 1

YEAR 4 HOMEWORK Firstly, thank you for your wonderful efforts in last term’s homework project. The general feedback we’ve had has been positive and the children enjoyed looking at and celebrating each other’s work, at the end of last half term. This term’s homework is outlined below: READING - EVERY night for a minimum of 20 minutes. Children should have their reading journal in school every day and are encouraged to use the comprehension section at the front of the journals to think further about their reading. SPELLING – each Friday there will be a spelling test using the weekly spellings below. MATHS - The children should now have their own login details for My Maths Online. There are currently 6 tasks set up, which are all revision of last half term’s work.

HOMEWORK PROJECT – See below for the 6 activities that make up this half term’s homework project. They need to be completed and handed in on or before Friday 7th December 2018. These activities can be done in any order and will be shared in class after the deadline.  Research and make a fact file on a favourite saint in honour of All Saints day  Design a prayer card for those who have passed away - either in your family, community or wider world. 
