Exploring Paint Media Using printmaking to create patters for effect
In year 1 the children explored using a variety of paint media to create different patterns and marks.
The children had to concentrate and print with care to create the clear bubble patterns and marks.

Year 2 Creating shades of blue Drawing with increased accuracy
In year 2 the children started the week by exploring different shades of blue by gradually adding small amounts of white and black.
The children used bubble wrap to create their ‘tones of blue’ backgrounds. They then drew a silhouette of ‘The Stranger’ and cut it out with care.
