Our Curriculum Intent Our aim is to provide a happy, safe and inclusive environment in which children will thrive and reach their potential and our curriculum reflects this. We are mindful of the world in which our children are growing up in and so we ensure that the curriculum, combined with other experiences equips them for a life in the Britain of today and not of the past. Therefore, we promote the British values of tolerance, respect and democracy in many ways including via links with the community, in our curriculum and school culture. We have found that the best outcomes are achieved by a careful balance between knowledge, skills and understanding which are carefully planned, delivered and applied in a range of contexts.
