Why did we still do these mocks?

• You get a practise of the real papers.

• We have more possible evidence for your centre assessed grades.

• Your revision has now already started!

• You will hopefully have discovered which revision techniques work.

• Your teachers will be able to give you specific and personalised advice – starting tonight!

Your results sheet • It simply states your name and a grade for each subject.

• Are for the exams only – no coursework.

• Question - Are these results a reflection of your ability or the amount of revision?

What will happen with these results now?

• They will be used by you and your teachers to target areas for further teaching, intervention and revision.

• They may be used as part of your centre assessed grades.

• The government will confirm which pieces of evidence can be used to produce your grades at the end of February/beginning of March.

What next • Be honest with yourself • Be sensitive to how others may be feeling • It is not too late • Find out what you need to do next • Don’t accept vague answers from yourself

• I will update you on how your centre assessed grades will be produced as soon as I can.
