Year 11 This is a crucial time for our Year 11 pupils. Following their mock examinations and their reports, these young people now have a clear idea of their strengths and areas for improvement. Pupils have received a detailed revision planner and examination timetable. There is no substitute for hard work and I thank parents and carers for their fantastic support in ensuring full attendance, that deadlines are met and that pupils attend the many and varied after school activities designed to support learning and revision. It is quite possible for pupils to improve by one or two grades from this stage through sustained effort and commitment.

porting their year group charities, donations to our Christmas ‘Send a Cow’ appeal will help make a real difference to people in the world that are less fortunate than ourselves. Similarly we thank you for your kind donations of food for the Living Waters Church food bank and we were also delighted to hear that we have been awarded a certificate in recognition of the work our Year 9 pupils have done with Chorley in Bloom as part of the Curriculum Enrichment programme. Thank you for your encouragement, prayers and practical support.
