Dear Parents/Carers,
We have just been informed that children entitled to Free School Meals, Universal Infant Free School Meals, those with key worker parents, and those whose families are experiencing financial hardship due to Coronavirus will be able to access a packed lunch during the Easter holidays.
If parents fall into these categories and would like to order meals, they should email leonard.irvine@orian.co.uk over the weekend with an order for the next two weeks (NOT use LunchShop as the County Council would like this lunch offer to be open to all schools).
Emails should include –
Child’s name
School’s name
Choice of sandwich (HAM OR CHEESE)
Please state whether your child is usually entitled to free School Meals due to your income or benefits, or Universal Infant Free School Meals, has key worker parents or has a family experiencing financial difficulties due to Coronavirus.
The lunch will also include a piece of fruit, drink, packet of crisps and biscuits. If your child has any allergies or dietary requirements, please put these in the email and collect from Chetwynde School between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Some schools may be able to deliver meals to parents but ours does not have that facility due to staff sickness.
If you have any further questions, please contact Len on leonard.irvine@orian.co.uk
Kind regards,
Jenny Redhead Deputy head teacher
