Congratulations to all our 'Reggae Project' finalists and 5 overall winners who finally received their prizes. They should all feel incredibly proud of their efforts and achievements. Their projects were well researched, originally presented and included all the required information.

Well done also to EVERYONE in year 8 who managed to complete and return their reggae projects.

They were all a joy to read and it was incredibly difficult to choose winners. A big 'thank you' to everyone for all their efforts.

Joey White 7O GREAT BRITISH ART EXHIBITION Some of the brilliant entries that Oakfield Academy have submitted.

Jacob & Harry Watkins Following the recent Lateral Flow Testing that has taken place recently at the Academy, it is right that all those involved receive a big thank you.

The Testing Team who conducted the testing, and our Admin Team who took on the mammoth task of registering each individual test on the government website. The exercise was hugely successful, and we hope that we can continue to support the fight against covid with our Home Testing Kits. Thank you again.

REGISTERING LATERAL FLOW TEST RESULTS FOR PUPILS

The sports court surface has deteriorated quite badly over the years, and we have now got a date for their refurbishment. This should hopefully be a 2 day process. Prior to this, we had to kill the moss that had massively increased. This took 1 day.

The Sports Court will be out of action on the following dates: Wednesday 24th March – Company coming in to clean the surface Thursday 25th March – Company coming in to repaint the lines We look forward to seeing the finished result.

Arrangements are currently in hand for after school clubs (IN BUBBLES) to start after the Easter Holidays.
