On Wednesday our “A” Winners were presented with certificates.

On Thursday our “R” Winners were presented with certificates.

Audiences at the Harmony Gardens at Oakfield Academy have been treated to two FANTASTIC performances of "Twelfth Night" by members of Shakespeare club, together with the hilarious experience that was "Twelfth Night Taskmaster." We have one more performance to go and will have a full report next week, but in the meantime, here is a photo of the whole cast performing the final song. We couldn't be more proud of all our Shakespeare club members - they are brilliant!

Look out for an email shortly confirming your child's Report is published. These include SATS results for Year6. They can then be viewed/downloaded as PDFs via Edulink'sReports/ Docs feature.

Parents are then encouraged to raise any concerns before the end of term, in the first instance by Edulink Message to the teachers named in your report. If your child is leaving, we recommend you download all/any of their PDF school reports from Edulink before their last day of school when your access to the app/website ceases.

The academy office will be open between 9am and 3pm to sell uniform on Monday 24th July and Monday 4th September. CASH ONLY.

On Monday 10th July, we took a group of over 40 Year 7/8 pupils to Somerset County Cricket Club, to watch Day 1 of Somerset V Hampshire. The pupils were invited as a reward for committing to extra curricular sports clubs and representing Oakfield in fixtures throughout this year.

Somerset went into bat first and unfortunately the wickets fell quite quickly to start, with 4 out by lunch. The rain held off until lunchtime. The cricketers stayed dry while Oakfield Academy and all of the other Schools were drenched! Our pupils learnt more about the game, as many had never watched a professional cricket match before. Our lessons and clubs will benefit from the experience of today. Thank you to all of the pupils who came on the trip. Miss Pullen & Mrs Stickley on behalf of The PE Department
