Food sustainability workshop for young people aged 13-18
4.00pm to 5.30pm on Tuesday 13th June 2023
Venue:- Room 1, upstairs at the Cheese & Grain
Does it matter where your food comes from? This interactive workshop helps young people explore issues surrounding food production. We’ll consider different points of view, develop our own opinions on this issue and discuss what can be done to make food production more environmentally friendly.
Orla (14 years old) described our last workshop as “an eye-opening experience, it was really fun!”
Join Katie from Science Boost CIC to explore this important topic with other young people. You'll also hear from Hugh Thomas, a food writer, about things already happening locally around food sustainability with the Frome Food Network.

Year 7 & 8 Exams Week

Kindly note the following information:-
The Canteen will not be open at break time during this week.
Please ensure pupils bring a water bottle with them to the exam.
Examinations will be taking place in English, Maths, Geography, History and Science.
Exams will take place between 8.45am 12.15pm
Normal lessons will take place during lessons 4 and 5. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!
PLASTIC BAG APPEAL FROM YEAR SEVEN
During Activities Week our Year Seven pupils will be exploring plastic fashion. If you have any spare bags, kindly consider donating them to this activity. Plastic bags can be dropped into Reception. Thank you.

Thank you for all the positive comments regarding our Celebration Day, we hope the pupils we remember it for many years to come.
This week in Science 7S & 7C were challenged to recreate the pH scale using just hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and water and their knowledge of neutralisation reactions (plus a lot of skill patience).
Some lovely pH boiling tube rainbows were created! Well done.

COLOUR RUN tickets are on sale in the Trinity playground, £5 per runner (refreshments available)
Everybody welcome.
Spectators are welcome free of charge, but we request you make lots of noise to encourage our runners. If you own a water-pistol, we also suggest that you bring this along!
Runners must wear goggles, sunglasses or another form of eye protection, or they will NOT be permitted to run.
