Instructions:
• Choose and complete at least 6 activities over the course of the half-term.
• Hand in through Seesaw or bring into school
• Each piece will be worth 1-10 house points.
• We expect you to complete each homework task with care.

Perfect Plants
Draw or sculpt a scientific model of a plant and label as many parts of the plant as you can.
Can you also create a “Guide to British wildflowers”?
Rubbish Models
Pretend you are Stig and create a brandnew invention using old recyclable items. Remember to include a diagram of what your invention does and how it works.
Shapes and art
Use 2D and 3D shapes to create a piece of artwork. Mabye a portrait like Picasso or a pop art landscape like Andy Warhol. Get creative in your work.
Spelling Scribbles
Create a spelling scribble using the words on See Saw from our curriculum list.
Roman invasion
Make a newspaper report about the invasion of Europe by the Roman empire. Make sure to include dates, maps and the reasons why the Romans are invading the country. Remember to choose carefully which side you are writing from.
Shading and shadows
Use our observational drawing skills to draw a realistic drawing of a group of objects. Try to use a range of shading techniques, including cross hatching, to make it more realistic.
Model Geographer
Create a report about how humans are impacting our coasts and seas. This could be written, a PowerPoint or even a video (if you’re brave enough!)
Daring Databases
Create a branching database about one of your favourite things on purple mash.
Spanish
Can you remember our days of the week and colours in spanish? Create an outfit for each day of the week and label the colours.
Military Letters
Write a letter as a Roman soldier invading Britain. What have you seen? Who have you met? Also include a Roman description of Boudicca during the war.
Times table Rockstar
Try and move up the rockstar ladder by one place. Practice your tables to get 1 second faster in the studio.
Test the teacher
Choose one of our subjects for this half term and create a quiz for Mrs Morris to answer.

Pyramid Words
Write each word once in the shape of a pyramid, adding one letter each time.
Spelling word search
Create your own word search including your spelling words. Remember to write a key and bring it in for us all to solve.
Newspaper words
Cut out letters from newspapers or magazines to form each spelling word once.
Alphabetical Order
Write your spelling words out in Alphabetical order.
Word Repetition
Write each word three times in print.
Questions and Statements
Write a question or sentence that uses one spelling word. Do this for each of your words.
