English: This half term we will be reading “Holes” focusing on older literature. With the outcome of being able to write a persuasive letter, a non-chronological report and a narrative. We will also be performing our KS2 performance. Focusing on reading scripts with the correct tone.



Year 6
Science: Living Things and their habitats
-describe how living things are classified into broad groups according to common observable characteristics and based on
similarities and differences, including micro- organisms, plants and animals
-give reasons for classifying plants and animals based on specific characteristics.
Half-term 6: ‘Holes’

Music: Mr Hall from Wellfield will be returning and will be teaching the children how to play the keyboard and will learn a variety of different songs.

Art & Design: As artists we will be studying and analysing the work of Salvador Dali. We will then be designing and making our own piece of art in his style.
