Poster Time! Create a poster to try to help others understand fractions easier
Fact Finding Find and generate a list of facts about a famous Viking.
Battle of the Ages! Create a Newspaper article about ‘The Battle of Hastings’
Battle it out! Play a game of battleships with a family member. Find out about battleships, airplanes or tanks used during World War 2. You could draw and label or even create a model of one of these.
What would you pack? Imagine you are a Viking invading Britain, you can only take 6 items with you, explain what you would take and why. You could draw and label your picture. Flags Research and then make the flags from the countries that invaded the UK during the Anglo-Saxon and Viking era.
Story time! Write your own story about children visiting Narnia for the first time. How did they get there? What problems occurred? How were the problems overcome? Challenge time! Create your own quiz, word search or crossword using facts or key words we have used during Science last half-term.
Make it! Make your own sculpture out of recycled materials. This can be of your own design. It must include a paragraph describing your sculpture. Recall Create a copy of the world map. Highlighting all continents, oceans seas, the equator, northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere. This could be drawn or created as a cardboard model.
Out ‘n’ about Go outdoors with your family on a big day out, take some pictures as evidence.
