Choose and complete at least 6 activities over the course of the half-term. Hand in through Seesaw or bring into school. Each piece will be worth 1-10 house points. Research punishments that were used during the Roman, Anglo Saxon, Tudor and Victorian times and give some reasons for them. Draw a planet in our solar system. Gather information on the planet. For example, surface temperature and distance from the sun.
Create a persuasive poster inviting children to come to be part of Northbrook Primary School.
Draw and colour Alaskan landscape.
Crate a word-search for the rest of the class to complete, as a morning activity. The words must come from the Year 5 and 6 list.
Add and subtract fractions with different denominators. Collect the sheet from Mr Iddon.
Create your own persuasive poster, asking people to come and visit and area/town/theme park etc. Use some relative clauses. Complete a sudoku!
One of our new topics in Crime and Punishment. Roman laws, written around 450 BC, were called the ‘Twelve Tables’. Not following these rules was a crime. What were the twelve tables? Show evidence that you are practicing you multiplications by 1, 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers.
