Art
This half term we are learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy. Can you create a piece of art work inspired by him?
Story setting

Can you create a picture of a setting for an adventure story?
Write a story
In English this term we will be looking at adventure stories. Can you write an adventure story about going to the park?
Number hunt
In Maths we are looking at addition and subtraction, can you find different numbers around the house and add and subtract them?
Weather diary
Can you create a weather diary by tracking and taking note of the different types of weather we have over the next 20 days? Which weather was the most common?
Animals and their Habitats
In Science this term we will be looking at living things and what they need to survive. Can you create a poster of your favourite animals and tell me what they need to survive?
Wolf
Can you create a model of a wolf? Think about the different features of a wolf.
Answer the question
What are the seven continents of the world? Which one do we live in?
Wolves
In English this term we are reading “The way home for wolf”. Can you research some wolf facts and create a booklet with them in?
Your favourite story
Read your favourite story with a family member. Then write down why it is your favourite.
Christianity
In R.E we will be learning about Christianity. Can you research facts about Christianity.
Children’s choice
Have your own homework idea linked to our topic or what we have been learning about. Extra points for creativity.
Maths Activities
• Practise counting in 2’s,10’s and 5’s. Practice your number bonds to 10.




English Activities
• • Write stories. Read and spell the words for year 1 and year 2. Read 3x a week. Remember to change your book as many times as you want. You can change your library and home reader every morning.

• Share your library book with your family.
• Write a poem about Florence Nightingale.
