Immersion- Spark Your Speech, Stories and nursery rhymes. Modelling full sentences, introducing new language, repeating full sentence.

Imitation- Joining in with repeated refrains. Fills in missing words in known rhymes, stories and games.
Dough disco – Introducing the finger names and using exercises to mould dough to music. Create something with dough for a purpose. Story and song time. Squiggle while you Wiggle – Making different initial marks (lines, circles, zig zags etc) to music in large movements. Phonics –Phase 1.
Invention- Verbal/group outcome of a partly changed song/story (characters or event). Make making in air and on paper.

Uses simple sentences. (2236m) Understand simple what, who, where questions. (22-36m) Listen and join in with familiar stories and songs. Begins to listen in small groups. Beginning to focus attention. LD: Fill in missing words in a known rhyme, story or game. (22-36m) Sometimes gives meanings to marks as they draw, write and paint. Begin to be able to describe main events of a story/song.
