Lomeshaye Life Welcome back to a new and exciting term at Lomeshaye and a Happy New Year to you all. This term is going to be packed with lots of interesting new learning—newsletters for Years 3,4 and 5 will be out next week with all of the details. I hope that this is a great term for everyone. Well done to everyone who made it to school this week. Our attendance figures for most classes were quite low as there are a number of children across school who have not yet returned from the Christmas break. We have NOT MET our target this week which is disappointing. The whole school achieved 94.9% . Let’s hope that next week the whole school attendance improves. Mentoring—this week most pupils will have had one to one conversations with their class teachers to help them to understand what they need to focus on this half term to make improvements in maths and writing. Each child should have new targets which will be located in their home-school journal. Please take a look and have a chat with your child to find out what they need to work on most this term.
