As Scientists we will:

We will name and locate the world’s seven continents and five oceans; name, locate and identify characteristics of the four countries and capital cities of the United Kingdom and its surrounding areas. We will also locate the world’s countries, using maps to focus on Europe (including the location of Russia) and North and South America, concentrating on their environmental regions, key physical and human characteristics, countries and major cities.

As Musicians we will:

As Mathematicians we will: gain a deeper

As Artists and Designers we will:
examine printing techniques by creating printing blocks using a relief or impressed method. We will link this with the ‘Importance of Rights’ by illustrating and painting / collaging our ideas before creating a class mural This will be formed over the whole of our summer term.

We will enhance our Creative Curriculum theme this term through the novel – Journey to the Centre of the Earth, developing our drama and performance skills for an end of term inspirational transitional show, encouraging our forthcoming Year 3 children and preparing them for their journey at Lomeshaye.
