A content creator produces articles, blogs, games, social media posts, and videos for entertainment or education. They distribute their work across websites, social platforms, and digital media, of specialising in specific areas using various engagement strategies.
WORKING ENVIRONMENTS
Most content creators work remotely, meaning they can operate from virtually anywhere in the world.
THE SALARY
In the UK, content creators earn on average £28,000 annually. Income streams includes affiliate marketing, merchandise sales, subscriptions consulting and content licensing.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Creating content demands significant time investment. Successful creators devote hours to researching, crafting, and editing material that viewers or readers consumer in mere moments.
THE TRAINING
No formal education is required to become a content creator, but strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills is beneficial. Those looking to improve basic skills can explore adult training.
