What a year…

SUMMER FETE

This term saw the return of the Summer fete, where FOLPS and pupils created stores to raise funds for each class and the school as a whole It was so good to have it up and running once again. The sun even made an appearance

As the academic year comes to a close it is the perfect time to say a massive thank you to our wonderful community for all of your support this year. The effort our Libanus families and friends put into the school and our pupils really does have such a powerful impact on each and every child. The attendance at our meet the teacher sessions, showcases, concerts, sports days, discos and fetes always amaze us, and we, as a staff, are truly grateful to be part of such a special school. Diolch!

Once again, we have enjoyed having 3 student teachers from USW this year and what a pleasure it has been. Libanus would like to wish

During the Autumn Term, Year 5/6 pupils learnt about their heritage through the learning theme 'Belonging'. This was entered into the Welsh Heritage Competition where they were successful in their entry, meaning they were then asked to showcase their work to two, very knowledgeable, judges in the Spring Term. The children were a credit to the school, delivered their learning and spoke confidently about what they had discovered. On Friday 5th July, the Year 5/6 staff and Mrs Williams attended the winners award ceremony, where they recieved a certificate and £350. We couldn't be prouder. Well done to all involved!
