Yipiyap: Catch-up Funding & National Tutoring Programme Yipiyap are offering schools the chance to join them at one of their webinars where they will share their understanding of the catch-up support available, including the NTP, and how Yipiyap may fit into this. These webinars will take place on Wednesday 14th Oct and Thursday 15th oct at 1pm.

University of Liverpool Maths School Please find information below on what is on offer from the University of Liverpool Maths School.

Offer for Year 13’s Liverpool University Maths Schools are offering a course aimed at Year 13 maths university applicants.

This will be of particular interest to any student planning to take an admissions test like the Oxford MAT, TMUA or STEP, as the focus will be on tackling this different style of problem using existing mathematical knowledge, but any keen mathematicians are welcome to join. This course will run each Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30, from Thursday 8th October onwards. Courses are available for anybody to apply to. Application is through a brief Google Form, which can be accessed through our website at: liverpoolmathsschool.org/outreach-reaching-your-potential/ Key Stage 4 Course There is also a Key Stage 4 course available and the first session will be taught next week, though new joiners will be accepted for a while. The aim of this course will be to develop students' algebra and problem solving skills as far as possible which should really help school's get more 8 and 9 grades.

Registering for Online Zoom Sessions As all our autumn term meetings have moved to virtual Zoom sessions, it is particularly important that all colleagues register to attend or send apologies using our online booking forms. This will ensure that colleagues receive the correct Zoom link to join each session and will allow us to quickly identify them when they join using their school's generic Zoom account .

If they do not register, then the meeting may be delayed as we will need to identify each colleague to accurately record the minutes and in the case of HoD meetings, to allocate them to the correct exam board ‘break out’ session.
