Humberston Cloverfields Academy – The Humberston Cloverfields Experience
An addition to the Academic Curriculum Offer
Inspired by; A belief that Humberston Cloverfields children are entitled to experiences and knowledge determined by their community and place in the world
Driven by the needs of OUR CHILDREN
Preferred Future: key experiences for our children upon which to build a secure knowledge of the immediate world around them
We want the school experience for Humberston Cloverfields children to be unique to THEM and their location. This offer is driven by the questions.’ What do we want our children growing up in Cleethorpes to know about THEIR world?’ and ‘What fun experiences should OUR children be exposed to’?
This initiative is funded by school from a combination of fund raising, Pupil Premium and Sports Premium
Impact: Taking a Learning Journey at Humberston Cloverfields Primary Academy involves experiences beyond the National Curriculum. An Entitlement package for all.
• Experience of the important elements of living in the area they do – geographically and historically
• Shared experiences give opportunitiesto develop vocabulary and language skills
• An opportunity to inspire future interests and skills – e.g. an interest in drama (Pantomime), a career with animals (zoo) or anaptitude for sports (ice-skating)
• An opportunity that for some children they would never have otherwise
