Mr Harwood is proud to introduce you to the Pupil Senior Leadership Team at Hollingworth Academy.
Hi, my name is Emilia and I am the Head Girl here at Hollingworth Academy. I am really proud to represent our school as the teachers go above and beyond to help. It is a really safe and welcoming setting.
I will be working with the other leaders to support the school and we want to ensure the school is a happy and comfortable environment for everyone. If you ever need to find me, I can be found in the atrium before school, at break time or dinner. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to me or one of the Leaders as we are all here to help you.
Hi, my name is Tom and I’m honoured to be this year’s Head Boy here at Hollingworth Academy. My journey through secondary school here has been one filled with rewarding and enjoyable experiences; it has felt welcoming and friendly, thanks to the amazing staff and pupils in the school. We pride ourselves on our high standards and high achievements and encourage everyone to do their best every single day. The subjects on offer here cover a wide range of interests and all have incredibly good facilities to complement them. There are also plenty of opportunities to make new friends and keep a healthy social life outside of the classroom, whilst still getting the best education in each lesson. If you have any questions, you can find me around the school and will be happy to help in any way I can, along with all other school leaders, as we are all here to make life in secondary school as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Hi, I’m Maia and I’m one of the Deputy Head Girls here at Hollingworth. At Hollingworth, we provide a nurturing and supportive environment for all our pupils. I’m really proud to be part of this community and its support network for pupils. I came to Hollingworth as the only one from my primary school and found a number of people, staff and pupils, who helped me to thrive and progress to this position.
As my job as one of the School Leaders, I’m here to help whenever you need it. Normally, you can find me in the Atrium before school, during breaktime and lunch. Please don’t hesitate to ask for help from me or any other Leaders at any time, it’s what we are here for!
My journey at Hollingworth Academy has been filled with highs and lows. With this opportunity available to me through Deputy Head Boy, I pledge to make a positive difference for the school. By being around the right people I've discovered a lot of positives about myself and my best interests. I will fulfill this duty with my full dedication, as it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Over the years Hollingworth has guided me through a journey of becoming a young adult and understanding the true values of life, which is why I am honoured to be a part of the community. I hope to help pupils stay resilient and inspire them to achieve together.
My journey as a pupil at Hollingworth didn’t start the smoothest, but over time I was able to develop into both a pupil and a person that I, and people around me, can be proud of and always believed I could become.
By surrounding myself with, and being open to, guidance from the right people with my best interests at heart, I was able to learn so much about myself and prove that although the journey leads to the destination, it is the journey that is far more important.
