Is Further Maths for you? You have achieved a grade A or A* at Maths GCSE as well as high grades across all your other GCSE subjects (e.g. A and B grades). You will be asked to take an induction test so the tutors can assess whether this course is suitable for you. You would like to consolidate and reinforce your standard A-Level Maths work, helping you to achieve the best possible grades. You would like an extra challenge and the chance to explore new and/or more sophisticated mathematical concepts.
Further Maths is a challenging course designed to extend gifted Mathematicians. It broadens and deepens the Maths covered at A-Level as well as introducing new topics. Further Maths is good preparation for those students aiming to study the subject at University, or other Maths-rich subjects such as Engineering or some Sciences.
