Raffle Tickets:
So far we have only had around 40 of our families return raffle tickets. Please can we have an extra push on selling the tickets over the weekend as this will really help to boost our fund-raising total. Even if you can only sell one or two books, it will make a difference.
We have some great prizes!
Meet and Greet with Jemima:
We are able to offer pre-bookable meet and greet slots with Jemima Puddleduck (27th April) for £5 per family This will include a photograph with Jemima.
As we have a limited amount of slots available please book beforehand – time slots will be available from Monday. Please contact the office if you would like to book.
Decorated Cake/Bake Competition:
We are looking forward to seeing this year’s entries into our decorated cake/bake competition. In the past we have been blown away by the creativity and skill shown by some of our pupils! There are 2 themes to choose from:
1) Beatrix Potter characters
2) Anything ‘Miss Gemma style’
It is Miss Gemma’s birthday on the day of the fair so we thought we would help her to celebrate! Entry forms have been sent home – please send back into school with £2 entry fee. All entries will need to be brought into school by 12pm on the day of the fair for judging at 12:30pm.
Father Peter and his wife Adele will be the judges. The cakes will then be sampled by our guests for afternoon tea.
Spring Fair:
We are now busy preparing for our Spring Fair which is in school on Saturday 27th April from 2-4pm. It would be lovely if you were able to join us – feel free to bring along your extended family members!
We will be serving afternoon tea in the hall and we have planned a range of games and activities which include:
· Chocolate Tombola
· Grand raffle
· Win a Bottle
· Splat the Rat and other games
· Beatrix Potter themed games
· Hook a Bag
· Beatrix Potter themed craft activities
We also have a special guest visiting for the afternoon – a Beatrix Potter favourite – Jemima Puddleduck!
Disco:
Our next school disco will be on Thursday 16th May, at the end of SATS week! We will run the event from 3:30-6pm so pupils can stay in school. They can bring clothes to change into and we will provide food/snacks between 3:304pm. More details to follow about booking.
