Highlights There are so many highlights this week! The Key Stage 2 Christingle Service was an absolute joy! All the different elements worked so well together and the singing was outstanding. It was also wonderful to see church so full! The candle-lit song is always a truly magical moment – well done to our Year 6 soloists. We have raised £1500 for school fund-raising through all our recent events. This will be split between the classes for them to use for resources or enhancement activities. The school choir have been sensational this year, performing at many events both school and community. I am looking forward to working with them next year as we have a few opportunities coming in the new year. Mrs Raby put on a fabulous Christmas lunch for our pupils yesterday. A big thank you goes to her for everything she does for school. Miss Gemma’s Christmas dance group performed at the Coffee Morning and groups from her classes performed in our end of term Celebration Assembly. It was lovely for the school to see what they have been learning and for them to perform to an audience. Some of Mrs Shipway’s keyboard players performed Christmas carols in worship for the school and parents. They were brilliant and showed a huge amount of progress! Up until the 13th December – 24 pupils had 100% attendance which is brilliant! We will keep working on improving attendance for all pupils over the next term. We had a fabulous end of term Rock Steady Concert – these pupils always amaze us and they clearly love performing with their bands! We have already raised £400 of the £850 total we need to raise as part of the Elmer project for Brian House!
