As an individual:

• Class Dojo points for 100% attendance each week

• 100% Attendance stickers

• Termly certificates for 100% attendance

As a class:

• Letters awarded daily for 100% to spell out ‘ATTENDANCE’ for a class treat.

• Classopoly prizes weekly for 96%+ attendance

• Attendance trophy and Attendance Ted

• ½ termly Pizza Party

Punctuality Incentives

• Early Bird Maths stickers for completing daily questions by 9am.

• Early Bird Maths prizes for completing sticker bookmark

• Weekly Punctuality Prize Day raffles

• Warm Welcome

• Class Dojos and stickers awarded to individuals with 100% weekly attendance.

• KS2 attendance trophy and KS1 Attendance Ted awarded for highest weekly attendance.

• Class attendance display updated weekly.

• Letter added to class display daily for 100%.

• Classopoly dice roll for 96+% attendance.

• Termly 100% attendance certificates.

• 100% attendance certificate award at the end of the academic year.

• Maintain open dialogue with families. Log any attendance concerns on CPOMs.

• Offer motivation to any key families or pupils whose attendance starts to dip and add notes to CPOMs

At Risk of Under Achievement

Rewards as above where relevant

• Letter 1 - attendance has dropped below 96%

• Outreach phonecall regarding attendance dipping below 96%. Explore barriers and offer support.

• Proof of illness may be required to authorise further absence.

• Review attendance daily.

• Letter 2a - At 95-93% at risk letter

• Meeting with Class teacher and Outreach

• Class teacher/Outreach/Pupil/Family develop attendance plan – review in 3 weeks.

• Home visit

High Risk of Under Achievement Rewards as above where relevant

• Letter 2b – Attendance below 93% at risk letter

• Attendance Panel – Outreach & Head teacher

• Headteacher/Outreach/Pupil/Family develop Risk of PA plan.

• Home visits

• Letter 3 – At 90% Intent to fast track letter to local authority

• Referral to School Nurse & Local Authority Attendance team Under

Persistently Absent – Extreme Risk of Underachievement

• Headteacher/family/Outreach/local authority attendance officer develop plan to address absence

• 3 week monitoring of plan
