T-Level Placement
Mid Cheshire Hospital Foundation Trust
Two of our T-Level students, Finn & Oli, have started a 5-week TLevel placement with the Mid Cheshire Hospital Foundation Trust, working alongside The Healthier Futures team, Gleeds & Mott MacDonald.
This team is leading a multi-million-pound project to create a brand-new, state-of-the-art healthcare neighbourhood for the people of East Cheshire.
As part of their placement, our students will support two key areas within the Programme Management Office (PMO):
1. Improving Reports – Helping the team make their data collection and reporting clearer and more useful
2. Community Engagement – Sharing their placement journey, planning content with the communications team, and creating a short video to inspire other young people to get involved.

CAEM Retail Display Solutions
We’re excited to share that our Year 12 T-Level student, Finn, has begun his Industry Placement at CAEM Retail Display Solutions.
Starting on the manufacturing side of the business, Finn will also be progressing into the design department—gaining valuable, hands-on experience across different aspects of the company.
We’re proud to work alongside CAEM Retail Solutions, a committed Industry Partner, and thank them for their continued support in helping our students become truly 'Industry Ready'

CAEM Retail Display Solutions
Another one of our T-Level students, Emma, has officially started her industry placement at CAEM Retail Display Solutions!
Emma will be gaining hands-on experience in both the design and manufacturing departments — learning from CAEM's expert team, using state-of-the-art CNC equipment and CAD software.

Bettersafe International
Crewe UTC T-Level students Leon and Freddie are currently completing their industry placement with Bettersafe International!
Under the expert guidance of Bettersafe Director Steve Jervis and his team, they’re collaborating on an exciting engineering project focused on the design and manufacture of working at height safety equipment.
Huge thanks to Bettersafe for providing valuable real-world experience and supporting the next generation of engineers!

RW Autotech
Ewan has been making great progress on his placement at RW Autotech!
He’s been hands-on with mechanical tasks on vehicles and is also developing his welding skills — even creating a brand new storage system for the garage.

Sercon
Maheen, a Year 12 T-Level student at Crewe UTC, has started her 9-week industry placement with Sercon!
Maheen shares her passion for engineering:
“I enjoy engineering because it brings together creativity and problem-solving in a practical way. I’ve always found that I learn and work best in a hands-on environment, and engineering gives me that chance to apply ideas to real-world situations. What makes engineering better is the impact it has on everyday life — from trains to the different systems and technologies that keep everything running. It’s a field where I can use my strengths to make a real difference.”
