Expressive

In addition to this, the children will have lots of opportunities to practise writing with increasing independence using the Drawing Club format.
Communication & Language: Opportunities for children to talk with adults and friends. Use of drawing club to expand vocabulary. Encouraging children to talk confidently in front of larger audiences during show and tell and in assemblies. Setting high expectations for listening skills.
Arts: Small world and role play areas will be available at all times. Through observational drawing and painting, the children will use tools such as smaller paintbrushes to develop fine motor skills further. Through story and role play, the children investigate the topic of people who help us.
RE: Use opportunities, such as outdoor play and field, to celebrate the awe and wonder of the world, and link that to creation stories.
