READING & HOMEWORK

One of our key priorities is developing reading. We strongly believe reading underpins our children's successes across the curriculum. Requirement of all children to read at least three times per week. Each child will be issued with a home/school planner for parents to record their child’s reading each week. This should be brought into school every day and will be checked in school. Their diaries must be signed by an adult to acknowledge both independent reading and reading to an adult.

Homework is set on a Friday and should be handed in by Wednesday. Expectations for Homework can be found in the children’s homework books.
