EVIDENCE REVIEW SHEET
Review of your evidence of meeting the standard and indicators in this section of the Rainbow Flag Award.
School: CHS South
Training Slides
These are some really excellent slides, and really comprehensive in terms of approaching both language and biases which may exist within the school. I particularly like how you have utilised the experiences of your students in this - stripping away abstraction that exists in some training. The sections on appropriate challenge of LGBTphobia also demonstrates clear consideration as to the needs of your specific school environment.
Questionnaires
It’s great to see that you are considering ways of measuring the effectiveness of training. Similarly, it’s really positive to see fairly consistent improvement from staff. Consider how you might further support those that haven’t quite reached that “5” mark.
Staff Pledge
This staff pledge looks fine, but unfortunately doesn’t really tell me anything, not having any signatories or idea as to what staff input may have been in developing this.

Comments, overall feedback and recommendations going forwards:
Thank you for submitting this evidence, it’s clear that you put a lot of thought into developing this training, and making it work as is best possible within your school.
Consider how you might offer further support beyond this initial training to staff that may still have some uncertainties.
In future, I might also highlight the importance of ensuring that you provide both resources and evidence of implementation which meets the indicators - it’ll save you a lot of time submitting additional evidence, and it may be difficult to achieve the full award without keeping this in mind!
Regardless, this looks like a good start, and I Iook forward to seeing what comes next from you. Keep up the good work!
