• Your child needs to be dropped off at Warrington Bank Quay Station at 9.45am on Thursday 11th December where teaching staff will greet them ready to be registered. All children will then walk up to the platform with staff members for 10am. If any child has not arrived by 10am, it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure they are taken to the correct platform.

• On Friday 12th December, your child will need to be picked up from the entrance of Warrington Bank Quay Station at 8.14pm. Please arrive for 8.10pm so that you are there in enough time. We kindly ask that parents do not go to the platform or collect from there so that we can ensure every child is safely dismissed.

• Children should not bring any spending money.

• If you need to contact your child in an emergency, please contact school during normal office hours in the first instance.

• If you have an emergency during the evening, contact via email which will be checked regularly on n.stewart@cvps.omegamat.co.uk. They will contact staff at the centre.

• If there is an emergency with your child, please be assured staff will contact you.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge what a huge step it is for both you and your child to agree to coming on the trip. We will do everything we can to make it an enjoyable and fun experience.

“ My child feels anxious…”

“They’ve never been to London before…”

“They will get nervous…” “Can you call me and update me?”

• We hear these comments all the time and we want to reassure that it is perfectly normal for both you and your child to have these feelings of anxiety.

• We are here to support, come and talk to us.

• We wouldn’t call unless it was an emergency or unless we absolutely need to talk to you.

• Have conversations with your child about the trip and what to expect between now and then and ask us any questions you/they have.

• Staff will not be able to provide individual updates for parents, but we will provide a snapshot into the trip via our school Facebook page.
