ON TRACK Year 11 Newsletter
Dr N Walmsley I am delighted to see the first of our newsletters dedicated to Year 11 go to press! The last few months have been extremely challenging and the year that lies ahead for our Year 11 pupils and families will be no different. There will be many questions to be answered and gaps to be filled and that’s why this newsletter will be a great source of help throughout the coming months. We will use this space to get key information and plans out to you so you know what to expect and where and when you can get support. I hope it will become a key part of your success as we move through your final year at CLHS.
THE YEAR 11 TEAM
Mr Nesbitt 11 Storey
Mrs Spence 11 Storey
Mr M Williams Extended Leader Progress Lead for KS4
Mr Kay 11 Halton
Miss R Carr Head of Year 11 and Storey House
Miss Morel 11 Lune
Miss Bartlett 11 Clougha
Mrs Hale 11 Clougha
So much of the success of Year 11 relies on communication. Ensuring that we are on the same page in terms of expectation and information means that your child feels supported and informed. This is a two way relationship, and as such, should you have any concerns regarding your child, their well being or the progress they are making, your first port of call would be our House Tutors. Likewise, should we have concerns, you may hear from one of the senior team regarding your child.
A LOOK AHEAD Year 11 is always a busy year, mock exams, revision, college choices and GCSE summer exams, all combine to make this a year a challenge for pupils and their families. The year ahead timeline will keep you up to date with the key events. Attached to this news letter is a link to the timeline explaining this half term's events in detail.
