You want to develop the personal skills you will need to be successful in business.
You must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including a minimum of grade C in English Language.
You have an enquiring, critical and thoughtful approach as aspects of business can be studied from a range of perspectives which seek to challenge assumptions.
You feel confident working with numbers as 10% of this course is numerically assessed and results require interpretation and evaluation.
You want to develop a broad understanding of business principles using case studies and research of real businesses.
This is a traditional academic course which uses theoretical understanding to make judgements. No coursework, assessment is by 100% examination.
You may wish to consider studying AS/A2 Maths or AS/A2 Statistics alongside this subject to help you develop the necessary mathematical skills required to study business.
