The Bridge Times! March 2023 THE NEW TABLES! The question on every school diner’s mind is about the new tables. They arrived on Monday at afterschool club time and then the next day we sat on them for lunch but a few questions still remain, like: Why do we have them? What will happen to the old ones? and where will they be stored? Whatever the reason most of the school diners agree that they are better than the old ones.
THE YEAR 4,5 AND 6S ART TRIP!
On Wednesday 30 children from year 4,5 and 6 went on a fantastic art trip in Folkstone. They where asked to make a wearable shelter and after a detailed discussion they got started on their project. They got around about 2 hours to make them and then they showed their projects of to the rest of the group. Some of the projects included, a handmade wearable sandal made out of paper, masking tape and straws, a fashionable hat to give to their mum for mother’s day, a breastplate of colourful paper bows, a mouse house, a tortoise shell made out of paper that actually fits and a big hat with a cape and 2 leg shields made out of straws. They all had a great time.
WHO’S EXCITED FOR THE NEW SCHOOL DINNER MENU?! There’s a new school dinner menu coming out soon. The school has decided to make a new school dinner menu that you might have already heard about as each class was asked to send in their feedback in about the old school dinner menu and to give ideas of your thoughts of what types of food that you would like so now they are deciding what its going to be. Let’s hope its going to be a good menu.
