LAST FRIDAY NIGHT!

Last Friday night 2 exciting school discos took place in the hall. One for the younger kids and for the older. Did you go to it? Thank you to the amazing DJ.

Another art trip for year 4-5!

Get excited if you are in year 4 or 5 as you can get the opportunity to go on an art trip in Folkstone. Exciting.

Surprise interview!!!!

We have done a surprise interview on Rebecca (PTA staff member) who was the whole reason the school disco happened. Thank you. We thought it would be nice to interview her as she and the PTA do so much that we don’t know about. So let’s get started.

Why is the school disco not at Christmas?

Because Christmas is a busy time and there wasn’t much on now.

Q2. Do you plan to have another next year?

A2. Hopefully if everyone liked it then we can arrange another one.

Q3. If you did what would you do differently?

A3. We may think about splitting it into 3 groups rather than 2.

Q4. Why is that?

A4. There would be less children so also less screaming and less chaos.

Anything else?

We would give refreshments to the parents.

Q6. How much money was raised?

A6. About £130!!!!!

THANK YOU PTA!!!!!!

Interview of the week

This week we are interviewing two people who went to cross country. The two people from our school in 5JS went to compete in the race at Chartham Primary school. Rather than being actual cross country, the students did laps across the field. At least seventy five other children were there. It was quite a big event. Fortunately, it did not rain so the students were able to run and not slip and slide through the race.

1. How many schools were there? about eight

2. How many people did you race? 75 people

3. What places did you come in? 15th and Hattie came 2nd

4. Did you bring back a trophy? Yes we did.

Year 6 and Year 5 ran separately in their year groups and were split into boys and girls. Years 4, 3 and 2 ran this time.

Year 6 came back with 2 medals

Year 5 came back with 1

Year 3 came back with 1
