BRIDGE TIMES!

There is celebration, all over the nation, for the King’s coronation. Get excited as the King’s coronation is this Saturday. A coronation is when a member of the royal family has a special ceremony to get them crowned the ruler of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth. It is a huge day and very exciting. What are you doing to celebrate?

GIRLS FOOTBALL SCORES!

On Wednesday a team of girls went to Canterbury University and played in the football district tournament. They all played really well and ended up 5th out of 20 schools. Well

Some lucky year 5s will get the opportunity to go to a special place of art and design their dream house out of all different materials. How exciting is that!

.l.Y YEAR FIVE TO LEARN TO SAVE LIVES!

Year fives are going to do something a little bit different in their swimming lessons. They have been asked to bring pyjamas into the swimming pool. They have to wear pyjamas because they will be going to learn how to save a life and the pyjamas are the closest we could get to clothes. Many people who need rescuing are wearing clothes when they fall in, for example, canals or rivers.

FOREST SCHOOL TO MOVE TO WOODS FOR ONE SESSION!

Forest school will be taking each class to Covet Woods for one session each. They go on the mini bus and spend their time building dens , re writing a story, safety rules and survival skills. Exciting

WEDNESDAY DELICIOUS CAKE SALE FOR PLAYGROUP!

On Wednesday a couple of amazing children and adults brought in some delicious homemade cakes to raise money for playgroup. Well done.

SECRET LIFE OF TEACHERS

Today for the first time ever we are starting secret life of teachers. Today we are going to interview Miss Radford (5JS TA).

1. Do you have a hobby? Yes, I have lots of hobbies including piano, saxophone, badminton, cycling and painting.

2. What books do you read? I like to read crime books.

3. What is your favourite meal? Sea food risotto.

4. What is your favourite animal? A fox - they are the best.

5. What made you want to become a teacher? I like to help people and so being a teacher was perfect for me.

6. Did you have another career before teaching, or did you go to a different school? No, I didn’t because I started a few months ago.
