Programme: Adventurous Activities Kingswood UK– fully qualified staff (AALA Licensing Authority) Staffing Ratio: LA requirements, 1:7 activity + Bredbury staff, downtime 1:10.

Health & Safety: 10 minute H&S overview, appropriate equipment: helmets, harness, protective etc Activities such as: 3G swing, abseiling, balance beam, Jacob’s ladder, zipline, aeroball, archery, buggy building, nightline, laser

Peak Venture has standard dormitory style accommodation. Rooms range from 4 to 12 bed dormitories, with gender-separated bathroom and shower facilities and party leader rooms close by. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests

Date of Visit: Monday 6th July 2020 – Friday 10th 2020 Total Cost: £300 (Incl. transport, accommodation, tuition by fully qualified staff, leavers hoodies and insurance) Initial deposit: £70 by Friday 26th April 2019. This is to secure our booking.

2nd Payment: £50 by Friday 14th June 2019 3rd Payment: £50 by Friday 13th September 2019 4th Payment: £60 by Friday 31st January 2020 Final Payment: £70 by Friday 24th April 2020 Payments can be made on parentmail – parentpay, Cheque (payable to Bredbury Green Primary School) or by Cash.

Commonly asked questions Sleeping arrangements : Children sleep in dormitories with teaching staff next door.

Kit list: You will get a more detailed one nearer the time.

Electronic Games: No electronic equipment.

Activity Teams: Children take part in activities in groups of 10-15. They are supervised by 2 Kingswood activity staff and at least 1 member of Bredbury Staff.

Medicine: All parents complete a medical form 4 weeks before the trip. Medicine is administered by a member of staff.
