The lights and decorations are up, we’ve started the school Advent Calendar and please check the dates on this week’s Bulletin for the exciting events we have planned for the final week of term. I am delighted to let you all know that we are still rehearsing and WILL be putting on a Christmas performance this year (although it will be very different to previous years given the current situation)! The infants are putting on a Christmas Nativity performance and the Juniors will be performing ‘Christmas Around the World!’ The children are busy rehearsing in their own Bubbles and the performances will then be recorded separately then edited all together for families to enjoy. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we are unable to stream the production via Zoom and mass produce a DVD. Therefore, we will be distributing the performance to families, on a downloadable file, via Microsoft Teams in the final week of term. The school is now fully set up on Microsoft Teams and from January any Remote Learning required, will be increasingly run through Teams. All the children will have their own login and as parents you will be able to use this login to access the performance file and download it (this means the performance will be stored securely and can ONLY be accessed via a child’s school login). The school office will be e-mailing all parents with instructions on how to activate your child’s Microsoft Teams login next week. The performance will then be uploaded in the final week of term for you to access and enjoy.
