Dear Parents/Carers, SHAREs Athletics Tournament at Robin Park, Wigan
What a fantastic night our Bishop Martin Athletics Team had at Robin Park! I am sure you heard the medals jingling and we look forward to celebrating their achievements during our Praise Assembly on Monday morning. Our participation in events such as this rely on staff giving their time and we want to thank Miss McKnight and Miss Rowat for supporting the team so well. A huge thank you to the parents and staff who went along to support our team – you were super cheerleaders and the children say they could hear your support even on the far side of the track!
Code of Conduct
Many of you will be aware of an incident that happened outside school earlier this week. All children, staff and parents agree to follow our code of conduct, which is rooted in respect. We want to make it clear that we will not tolerate such behaviour and will take consistent action if there are any incidents, which impact our Bishop Martin family.

Year 4 Koalas Tatton Park Trip
Koalas enjoyed a trip to Tatton Park on Wednesday. They visited an Anglo Saxon settlement where they trained as warriors, made bread from scratch and learned about Saxon crafts. They also had the pleasure of meeting lots of farm animals. Another highlight was spotting Red Deer and Fallow Deer roaming freely around the park. Thank you to Mr Dawe, Mrs Nolan, Mr Robinson (who is working in Year 4 this term) and Miss Wohler for planning and leading this fun learning experience.
Upcoming Events
Next week, our Tigers are going on their school trip on Thursday to Liverpool Museum and our Lions will attend the Leavers Mass at Liverpool Cathedral on Wednesday. Mr Critchley’s ukulele club will also be performing at the end of Praise Assembly on Monday.
